Innisfil S.C Skills Acquisition Program
The implementation of The Skills Acquisition Program is to ensure players at all levels in the club from U7-17 are being identified and given the opportunity to accelerate their learning and reach their expected level of proficiency.
The focus of the Skill Acquisition Program is on measuring minimum performance levels and the transformation of skills from novice thru to master stages.
Each session will include activities and small sided games that will cover, Ball manipulation, 1v1 attacking/Defending, 1st touch, passing, creativity, awareness, speed and intelligence.
The Curriculum has been designed by Innisfil S.C Technical Director and is based on best practices being used world wide.
The Skill Trainers who will deliver the curriculum are Certified Pre B and B Licence Coach’s who have been trained in delivering skill sessions to elite players.
This program will be launching Feb throughout 2012. Acceptance into the Skill Acquisition Program will be based on selection and tryouts. Innisfil Technical Staff may consult with Competitive Team Coach’s to invite players.
The fees for the 8 week program are $125, Low coach to player ratio.
